VGHS Season 3 Finale Review

Since Season 3 of Video Game High School (VGHS) has come to a close, I can’t help but wonder whether the series I have come to love has finally finished for good (unintentional rhyme there).

The creators of VGHS have created a universe that I am sure many people would love to live in; I know that I am definitely one of those people. I mean who wouldn’t want to go to a school mainly focusing on Video Games? Most people wouldn’t? Well they’re lying! I mean think how many games you’d get to play and how many achievements you’d unlock as a result. If that isn’t a life goal to strive towards then I don’t know what is!  They’ve created an incredible series with amazing cinematics and a wonderful script that I can’t get enough of.

So what happens in the finale?

Pre-Halloween Scares: Let’s Play from RT!

In preparation for Halloween tomorrow the awesome Adam and Joel with Blaine in tow on the camera; go to an abandoned and “haunted” asylum to play the hit horror game Outlast in this Halloween Special.  There are many girlish screams, terrified faces and what is for them an intense Let’s Play. Very entertaining to watch but I can’t help but feel sorry for them…however I’d rather it be them than me!
I also thought some of you might enjoy to watch it. 🙂

I think out of anything you can watch this Halloween, American Horror Story: Freak Show is probably one of the most disturbing and horrifying television series out there that is perfectly fitting.

But lets face it, you won’t be short of scares! Have a spooktacular Halloween filled with excitement and fear (of the fun kind) and I shall see you when all the skeletons, vampires (none of the sparkling kind I hope), cobwebs and tombstones have been tucked away for another year.

Megan 🙂

Loot Crate August Theme Reveal

As this months reveal video has finally been released by the great guys at Loot Crate I thought I would reveal this months theme.

You didn’t think we’d let the bad guys have all the glory. This month we have assembled an awesome collection that celebrates good guys. Items in our crate draw from HEROES in both geek & gamer lore…Last but not least, our custom box last month was so well received that you’ll get another surprise when you open your August one!

That’s right this month theme is in fact Heroes! And for those of you who didn’t get to see last months Loot Crate, this was the genius little surprise inside everyone’s box:-

Now I’ll stop with my ranting and let loose the visionary masterpiece that can be seen below. Enjoy!

Too Old For This Sh**

Booker Catch

As I have been playing the Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 2 DLC since its release and thoroughly enjoying it so far, I thought I’d share with you a new Youtube account that I came across recently.  I have seen them on Inside Gaming before together but now they have their own account and it is brilliantly named “Too Old For This”!

You’re probably wondering what this has to do with Bioshock Infinite? Well one of the two guys doing gaming commentary and play throughs is none other than Oliver Vaquer himself.  For those of you who aren’t too sure to who he is, he is Robert Lutece and his character is crucial to the storyline of Bioshock Infinite as well as his “twin” Rosalind Lutece who isn’t really his twin.  As he’s her male counterpart from an alternative reality. All real splendid when put together and slightly confusing.  My mind was blown away by the ending of the game itself and it is by far one of my favourites.  Which I am sure you’ll all come to know soon enough in time. He is also one of my favourite characters in the game itself.

Back to “Too Old For This” along with Oliver Vaquer there is also Jason Zumwalt doing the play throughs and commentary.  Who of course voiced the annoying cousin of Niko Bellic, Roman Bellic – who would call ALL THE TIME even at inappropriate times when you are otherwise engaged and demand you to spend time with him! No Roman I DON’T want to go bowling with you, I NEVER WANT TO!

Now that my key bashing rage is over – their channel only has three videos on it as of now and they are hilarious.  Doing different voices and showing how they aren’t the best at video games, they’re still probably better than me!
This is definitely a channel to keep an eye on for the future, so feel free to have a look for yourself-

On that note, that’s all from me for today and I shall review Burial at Sea Episode 2 DLC soon.

Thanks for reading,
