Since Season 3 of Video Game High School (VGHS) has come to a close, I can’t help but wonder whether the series I have come to love has finally finished for good (unintentional rhyme there).
The creators of VGHS have created a universe that I am sure many people would love to live in; I know that I am definitely one of those people. I mean who wouldn’t want to go to a school mainly focusing on Video Games? Most people wouldn’t? Well they’re lying! I mean think how many games you’d get to play and how many achievements you’d unlock as a result. If that isn’t a life goal to strive towards then I don’t know what is! They’ve created an incredible series with amazing cinematics and a wonderful script that I can’t get enough of.
So what happens in the finale?
In preparation for Halloween tomorrow the awesome Adam and Joel with Blaine in tow on the camera; go to an abandoned and “haunted” asylum to play the hit horror game Outlast in this Halloween Special. There are many girlish screams, terrified faces and what is for them an intense Let’s Play. Very entertaining to watch but I can’t help but feel sorry for them…however I’d rather it be them than me!
I also thought some of you might enjoy to watch it. 🙂
I think out of anything you can watch this Halloween, American Horror Story: Freak Show is probably one of the most disturbing and horrifying television series out there that is perfectly fitting.
But lets face it, you won’t be short of scares! Have a spooktacular Halloween filled with excitement and fear (of the fun kind) and I shall see you when all the skeletons, vampires (none of the sparkling kind I hope), cobwebs and tombstones have been tucked away for another year.

Bringing back some very good memories of amazing games that I had the privilege of playing and immersing myself in their world.

Outlast: Whistleblower – The DLC to the horrifying game that disturbed and caused sleepless nights for many. If you thought that this would be a bed full of roses compared to the original game, you’d be so very wrong. Many have said that this is scarier but you’d have to be the judge of that.
Staying true to the game it throws things into the midst that cause your heart to pound and your breath to quicken, a lot like the character you play as, Waylon Park. The poor guy endures a lot; from nearly having a sex change to being chased by a cannibal. It is safe to say he’ll never be the same again.
South Park: The Stick of Truth brings a new outlook to the typical TV series games that have been released in the past; not only does it stay true to the TV show but it also allows you to become a part of their world. You are immersed into South Park as the new kid and your mission; to make friends and RPG with some very familar faces – Cartman, Butters, Kenny to name a few and many more.
So for anyone out there who hasn’t played this game it is time to follow your destiny – step up Douchebag and reclaim the Stick of Truth.
I am still currently in the process of attempting to write the review on Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 2, so far it isn’t going so well! It has been over a month since it was released and since I played and completed the second instalment of the Burial at Sea DLC but I just can’t muster into words how incredibly amazing this DLC was.
I know a lot of people were disappointed with the finale and luckily I wasn’t one of them. I am a huge fan of the Bioshock series and if it had disappointed me I would have been distraught as I mean how long now will it be till they release another Bioshock game? I am so sad that Ken Levine won’t have a hand in the Bioshock universe anymore but I am glad that he has handed the reins solely over to 2K. I have faith in them!
Going back to Burial at Sea Episode 2, I replayed it the other day in the hope it’d help me with writing my review and instead it just reminded me of how much of a fright I got in the first play through. I hope I wasn’t the only one who jumped and threw my controller across the room when I saw this:-
I mean I really didn’t expect to see her stood there – jump scares so early on, who’d have thought?! It was like the Boys of Silence all over again.
One of my worst fears is creepy scary little girls like the ones from The Ring and The Grudge so this really didn’t go down well in my books. I just hope I am not alone out there and that someone else is just as much of a wimp as I am.
What is one of your worst fears? Birds? Maybe even feet? Tell me down below in the comment section as I would love to know that I am not the only one with a strange fear!
That’s all from me for today – don’t think I’ll be sleeping for a while after looking at that again!
